“DISPOSABLE ” ; 2025
Materials :
Table Legs , CNC MDF , Stool Legs and Aluminum Frame
In a world driven by mass production and constant consumption, discarded objects become forgotten remnants of our unsustainable habits. This installation repurposes broken, thrown-away furniture—items once valued but now deemed useless—to challenge our perception of waste and functionality. By stripping these objects of their original purpose, I highlight the fragility of material culture and the cycle of disposability that fuels overconsumption.
This work invites viewers to confront the aftermath of consumer excess, urging a reconsideration of value beyond utility. Through this transformation, the discarded is given new meaning—not as waste, but as a reflection of our relationship with material goods and the impermanence of ownership.
What happens when the things we throw away come back to confront us? This installation is a reflection of overconsumption and the cycle of waste.
