Système de transplantation

Drawing from globalization, migration, and the movement of materials across borders, Système de transplantation examines the infrastructures that enable adaptation and survival. The installation considers transplantation not only as a biological process but as a condition of relocation of bodies, resources, and cultural systems entering unfamiliar environments.
Ceramic forms, industrial materials, and suspended structures exist in a state of dependency, suggesting systems that support growth while simultaneously regulating it. Lead, latex, and clay carry distinct histories of extraction, labor, circulation, and transformation, linking personal experiences of movement to broader material economies.
Rather than presenting stability as a fixed condition, the work focuses on the mechanisms that sustain it. Support becomes visible as something constructed, negotiated, and continually maintained.
